Cant Rev Past 2000 RPM (AEM EMS)

I feel like a freaking idiot. i just put in aem ems and configured all the sensors and stuff, start up the car, and it wont rev past 2000 rpms. checked all the rev limiters, grounds, connectors... im stumped. Any ideas?

redtop sr20det into an s14 if it matters

car ran fine on the power fc before this..

seems like it could be your maf sensor, check if its properly connected and working

Are you using the startup map aem gives you or a borrowed one? Sounds like a timing issue.
Check
Configure>
ECU setup>
Set ignition

Watch your timing as you rev it through and see what you get. I had the same issue, some reason an old map I had from someone elses car wasn't working for me, so I just started from scratch.

calibrated the timing three times now.. same thing.. anyone else?

do you have v. from MAP. if you remember you have to cut one wire on the d-jetro setup for the IAT. make sure that wire is reconected

Im having same problem on my rb25 now....weird. Ever figure it out? Factory ecu works fine just the AEM wont rev past 2k
