I've seen a few harnesses on eBay that are specific for 95-96/97-98 and was wondering if there is a difference on the USDM ones.

no they are not.

in particular i know for a fact the two sensors on the coolant passage by the coolant air bleeder screw are different.

i also believe the TPS sensor and the distributor harness plugs are different.

there are probably other differences as well.

Awesome, thank you, i appreciate it. But i was wondering if I could use a 98 KA24DE harness in my 96 S14 IF I were installing a S13 blacktop and having it wired by Yuri.

i dont know who yuri is, but i know of at least one person who has used a 97 ka harness on a s13 redtop. it ran fine up until the owner crashed the car (repeatedly).

so if yuri knows what he/she is doing, then you can probably do it.
