I knew it's bound to happen. I would be mad if I bought a rtx2080 ti. But, you got to blame yourself for purchasing it. Consumers dictate gpu pricing. Like Moore's law is dead said.
I learned my lesson from buying a midteir card for $800. Never Again be duped to buy a top tier card thinking is top gpu. |

$700 is my limit. For it to cost that I has to be at the top of the gpu chart by a good bit. If the 2080ti would have launced at that price id have one now. A 1200 pc part is just too much. Especially considering it is not that much better than the 1080ti.
I care not about RTX. Too much of a fps hit for a feature that appears slightly noticeable.

What do you guys think of the Navi pricing?
Seems like many are not to happy about it. But, I think amd is just positioning themselves for price war with Nvidia. Navi price will eventually drop. |

2070 super results are considerable compared to the old 2070. its the card nvidia should have released in the first place. hoping to see the 2080 super & 2080ti super results.

The 2070 super is comparable to the 1080ti honestly. Pretty dope card.

I should have shared my build when it was done 2 years ago, but here it is: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/kPJ8TW
RIP 1080ti prices, but I knew that going in. The card still kills everything that I use it for, so I don't see myself upgrading until my next complete build. |

If the 5700 takes on the 2070 maybe the 5900 for 2080 and 5950 for 2080ti.

With the super cards so competitively priced they pretty much did not have a choice.

competition is seldom a bad thing. now if we would also see that in high end gpus, that would make my day. hope the 5900 becomes a reality and at the very least takes on the 2080 super

Works like a charm. Have to run one hdmi and 2 on displayport, but that isn't a big deal. I don't use it as one big monitor, since I use one monitor for the local os, and the other 2 for my VMs.
I am pissed that one of my ram sticks crapped out and I have to rma the kit now, so down to 16gb for now. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk |
