Lol...The thread was from 2011, not the Z32, and it was a dead end. Basically, I’m seeing cheap dodge Brembo calipers everywhere and looking for brackets to mount them so my s14. Anyone?

I bought an airbox + maf and seller says maf fits sr20 but also I just plugged it into my Ka24e but maybe it’s a Ka24e maf? (Since sr20 maf wouldn’t plug right into Ka24e)

Correct..if it plugs in to a ka24e connect...its a sohc maf.
If it plugs into an sr20 plug its indeed sr20maf. It will work for an sr20 just needs the connector and proper wiring. Seems like the seller was very blaahhh on his description of the item |

SR20det MAF - 4 PIN PLUG, 4 PIN SOCKET (only 3 pins are used) The SR20det and KA24e MAFs are interchangeable as long as you have the correct plug wired into the harness. The SR20det plug/socket is 4 pins long, but only has 3 pins. the KA24e plug/socket is 3 pins long and uses all 3 pins. since you plugged the MAF straight into your wiring harness, you have a KA24e MAF... BUT, the KA24e MAF will work on an SR20det if you wire in the SR20det MAF plug. make sense? |

I recently found out that JZX100 tie rod ends fit our tie rods and provide a bit of a bend for better geometry.
Only problem is the castle nut is a bit too tall. Anybody know the proper size castle nut we can use that will properly fit with the cotter pin in?

I put a gallon a muriatic acid into my gas tank that’s filled with water this morning and I’m letting it sit until tomorrow morning, I have another gallon of muriatic acid and I was wondering if I should add it or if the 1 gallon will be enough?

yes, its doable, but unless you're a skilled fabricator, the cost is gonna be $$$$ to pay someone else to do it. imo you'd be better off buying a rear knuckle from PBM or Driftworks |

Help Navigating the forum
I am brand new to Zilvia, and actually just made an account. I am currently working on swapping an rb20det into an s13 but I have not been able to find any threads about this swap on the forum. Any guidance/ links to threads about this would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Small questions deserve small answers. I only used one gallon of Muriaic acid (hot water first) and I didn't let it sit overnight, just kept it active by kinetic energy. You need to seal the metal before using the tank again. The POR15 kit with "Marine Clean" prior works great.

So I recently bought a electronic fan controller from mishimoto. I have for the most part everything figured out. My question is the yellow wire requires 12v ignition. Is there any where in the bay I could tap into for that? It already has a constant power wire. Also the green wire it says hook up to the positive on my ac compressor. (Ka24de ac on a sr) does that mean the plug that goes straight into the compressor and just take from the positive on that or? Could that also mean the old fan wiring harness on the chassis?
“ 14. a/C override - using the blue wire tap provided, attach the green wire to the positive lead on the air conditioning compressor. “ |

--So whether you get that directly from the compressor or get it from the original harness wire, the outcome will be the same. FAN ON when COMP ON. If you cannot find a diagram of this, you can probe the compressor connector to see what wire gets B+ (12v) when you command A/C on. (press the AC button) As for the 12v ignition ON source, you could essentially get that from anything in the fuse box that gets power when key on. But I'm sure you've already figured this all out since it's been over 10 days.
