wiring aux fan to compressor trigger wire

in my head it makes sense. I only want the aux fan to turn on when the A/C compressor turns on. Im running 1JZ in my s14.

Basically using the positive A/C compressor trigger wire to triggeR the relay to give power to the fan.

Thank you

Preference not necessarily better.

When I say low side I mean trigger the solenoid from a ground as opposed to a positive voltage

I just saw it says AC, so the method you have illustrated is ideal

I understand, thanks for your input. Ive got a 12 pusher in front of the condenser which kicks on with a thermo switch in the ups rad hose. Im using the oem 7M dual 6 efans and want to wire them up only to kick on when the compressor turns on.
