Zenki Fog light mounting issue - HELP

I recently purchased the fog lights for my Zenki (base model I think) but the fog lights won't fit on the bumper. I see the holes on the fog mount, and the holes on the reinforcement bar but they don't want to line up. There's a pigtail bar that sticks out of the top of the fog light mounts which personally I think if I cut it off, the holes would line up. Any suggestions on how to make it lineup instead of cutting the mounts?

Are you using JDM brackets? Sounds like. If so, throw them away and buy US brackets, or source a JDM reinforcement. The JDM parts are completely different.

Where do I get US version? I searched so long and hard just to find the ones I got. Do you have/know where I can see piks of it?

The dealer has plenty of them. They'll even sell you a pair.

Do yours have a long ear that extends up a few inches from the main bracket? If so, they're JDM. They're designed to bolt to the frame rail and leg off the reinforcement flange, not like the US that bolts straight to the reinforcement.

Yes dang it, they have that extra ear. How much would one of those cost at the dealer? Do you know what the part # is? (cuz they act like they can't find anything without a part#).
Have you heard of anyone cutting off the ear? It looks like if I do, the screw holes should line up. And I guess you don't have a pik huh? or link to one?
I'm a newbe if you don't realize already. Thanx much thus far
