custom ac condenser ?s

Car = rhd s14 zenki
Motor = s1 Rb25det

I am purchasing a s1 Rb25 and need to tackle the condenser issue. I am planning on purchasing the chase bays tuck radiator with the fittings on the right side. Using that set up means I can't use the oem condenser. I have seen some people use civic condensers which I am considering. My question is. Is there any company that makes custom condensers to spec? Are there any other condensers that are a better substitute than a civic?

Thanks for any help/info

Sil, I read through the post. I see the condenser and what you did. My question is, from where did you source the condenser? Is that one off a different car?

Nah its a Aftermarket OEM Style one for the S14. Forgot the brand just found a cheap one online

Although, I would recommend just having a shop mod the OEM one like mine.

You should be able to run any equally sized condensor that will take up the same general area. Obviously you'll nee custom lines, but that's easy stuff.

As in a custom condensor will need to be used/mounted. From there an AC or Hydraulic line shop should be able to hook you up with the right fitment lines.

I found that Honda or Porsche condenser works for those with limited space.

Exactly.

I'm running a civic condensor in my s14 w/RB25 and have had no issues at all. I had custom lines made for $100.

GO to junk yard, find any small condesor not beat to smitherines, and place in front or behind intercooler depending on location. Then go to a place that has a TIG, such as radiator repair shop or local machine shop.. Whatev, get them to weld up some lines that fit to your car. Then charge with some freon..(assuming you have a compressor and a drier and at least a few lines that hook up to the compressor.)
