Electrical problems!!

I have a 1990 hatch that had a blown sohc... i replaced it with a rebuilt dohc.. i have the dohc wiring harness and ecu put it. i rewired the dash pin off the harness for a the body EXACTLY like the youtube video. I get power to the ignition coil, but when i test the plug for the distributor, i get the following readings from left pin to right- 0, .05, .01, .01. I even had fellow member LuckyRPS13 come over and help. He said he is having the same problem on another motor he is helping with.. please help, neither one of us know what is going on..

It was a bad ECU. I hooked up a spare DOHC ECU I had laying around for shits and giggles, we then had power and fired right up. Crazy thing is the bad ecu worked in a 91, but not his 89.

So I need help, my 240 keeps dying and I'm not sure what it is, I've changed the battery and got a new alternator but it still eventually dies (when parked and not being driven) any thoughts on what it could be? A bad wire?
