Hood/fenders alignment

Hey all, trying to finish up my S14 6.0 swap. Its all up and running and dynoed , I am just trying to get the body straight.

For some reason the fenders bow out as you can see in the photos. Also the hood is sitting higher than the fenders at the start of the hood. I'm not to sure how to align this properly. Any guidance or suggestions would be appreciated.

Not too sure about the hood unless its hitting some rubber bumper that isnt supposed to be there.. For the fenders, I would open up or slot the holes on the fender and it gives you more adjustment

few things.

The right fender is too low, it needs to be raised up about a quarter inch (use the body line as a guide). When fitting a fender, start at the back and work your way forward. Get the gap right between the door and the fender, and then worry about the fender to hood gap. The fender bolt that is up near the door mirror is where you'll want to start. You'll set the door gap and the fender height with this first bolt. If you don't get that right, the rest of it won't want to cooperate.

As far as the bowing is concerned, they just need a little motivation from you to get to the right shape. I sometimes use a nylon pry tool to massage it in (google "windshield stick" and you'll see what I'm talking about). Use the door as leverage, and carefully bend the fender in. Work from the more shallow ends of the bow first, the start going inward. If you try to push it in at the highest point of the bend, you're more likely to put a kink in the sheet metal.

The hood, well we need more pictures. Did you have the latch and/or latch support off the car? It looks like the latch could be set too high, or the rubber bumpers at the end are screwed out too much. Again, without more photos I'm just guessing. If the latch is too high, here's a trick. Once the fenders are where they need to be, put the hood down and latch it (make sure the release cable is hooded up first!). Then loosen the bolts for the latch, and let the hood naturally fall where it needs to be. Make sure the rubber stoppers aren't getting in the way of the hood moving where it wants to. Once it falls into place, tighten the bolts. You may have to do some slight readjustments of the hood to fender gaps after doing this. If the hood is sticking up at the back near the hinge, you either have a bent hood, a bent hinge, or the fender still needs to come up more.

This is all based on the premise that the car was never in an accident, and that the sheet metal is all oem.
