Tunning SAFC 2 ?

I did find one other post but there were no replies and it had some relation to my issue but not completely. So Iv'e got ka24e-t 370 cc injectors stock maf, and i just got my safc II the other day and i wired it up and it works and everything. But my afr gauge before it was wired up was running rich. the instructions are Japanese so i was kind of just looking for things to adjust that i figure i could mess with.

I got it to run in the optimal level but then suddenly it dropped to lean. I haven't driven it yet, but i have been messing with it at idle while its idling lean. and cant seem to get it back to optimal, I'm hoping i haven't done any damage with it idling lean but it just not running that well so I'm not sure if i messed it up or if the afr is just really out of spec right now.

I looked up on apexi.com and looked at the instructions in english and tried to mess with it again and see if i could get it back to optimal but it just will not go past lean.

Any thoughts/tips would be awesome. THANKS!

*EDIT* Ok it turned out the o2 sensor was vibrated loose and when i tightend it, it went right back up ro rich as hell. and when i disconnect the maf, no smoke... runs optimal, and idles lol. When its plugged in it smokes a lot and wont idle.

Wait....Like literally running lean at idle? As in 750 rpms idle? I think that's normal...Dont cars idle at like 15:1 or 16:1...something like that?

not sure ive never tuned before... but .. i was looking at the connector on the maf and found out theres a ground that wasnt connected... so i got a wire and put the ground and bolted it down and the car runs optimal and idles lol...I hate my self for not noticing that this whole time.. I now just need to mess with fine tuning and see what happens.
