The disc is hanging over the edge of the flywheel, and the disc is hanging over the edge of the pressure plate. That is not normal from anything I have ever seen

Fukn clutch disc is way too big for that pressure plate flywheel.

Did the components come individually, or did it come boxed together?

It came as a kit from Z1, flywheel clutch and pressure plate.

yesterday they told me this is how their kit is supposed to be.... WTF

"So that's not why its slipping"

After some more investigation my pressure plate is crowned towards the engine, the outer perimeter is proud of the inner edge, it's cone shaped slightly, pointing at the transmission, so it's only touching the outer edge of my clutch disc. Also I read their return policy and it pretty much says eat shit fuck off and die loser, or we keep 20% on "approved returns" and I'm pretty sure it even says they keep 20% when it was their mistake sending you the wrong items!!!!!

Sounds like your fuked but id get a straight edge, lay it across the pressure plate surface, take pics, use a feeler guage set to show the diffrences..document it all. Send it to them as a warranty/defect claim. Thats the best you can do.

Yes I did this yesterday, I would send photos and then call them and make them tell me something instead of waiting until the next day for an e-mail. They seem to be cooperative and almost helpful so far but I bet they are not going to give me a refund. I do not want another clutch from them. I want my money back. I will happily pay $530 for a new Competition Clutch at this point, which is what I have used on my last 3 cars and bashed the clutch pedal 50 times per lap with no issues ever.

I will post pictures of that pressure plate distortion here

This isn't technically a "straight edge" but its all I had yesterday, and if you flip this piece of steel over, it shows the same result, and it's not visibly bowed. I will take these photos again today with a combo square with a real straight edge on it.

Yea I have sent them everything, along with a very detailed story of my installation procedure, and the fact that my 350Z has a throttle body issue halting me at like 10% throttle. The one day when it made full power the clutch slipped in 5th gear going up a hill at 55mph. I immediately let off and limped the car home. The clutch didn't slip under power in 2nd gear though which was weird. It was a very bad day. I had owned the car 4 months and this was my first time actually getting to drive it on the street with plates and everything all legal. I will post whatever they tell me here.

Z1 told me today that I can get a full refund for the whole kit if I want, but I want to keep the flywheel so they sent me a pre-paid shipping label and they are going to refund me $292 for the clutch disc and pressure plate. New price is about $308 so I'm super happy.

Z1 is pretty cool I think. I bought several things from them over the years.

That PP looks like maybe it warped from bad material, but I always check the flatness of it....
