FS: 1998 240SX Original 5-Speed w/ all VINs
Selling an Aspen White 1998 240SX. This is a factory 5-speed car (one of about 450 sold that year), and has all its body VIN tags. The car has always been stock, except for an S15 OEM steering wheel currently on the car (I have the original), and an aftermarket head unit and speakers, which were installed by the previous owner. Asking $8500. Email is [email protected]
Some more info: -Car has 242,xxx miles on it. Original KA engine was rebuilt at 238,000 miles. I have been using the car to commute to work. -Just purchased all new Nissan OEM dash panels and shift boot (these cost me about $450). -The car is located in the Los Angeles area. -Car has a sunroof, no ABS. - I am the third owner, and purchased the car in June 2018. The original owner was an older lady living in North Carolina, and had the car from 1998 until 2015. I bought the car from the second owner who brought it from NC to CA. -I am selling because I was going to temporarily commute in the car until eventually turning it into a street/track clean SR20 car, but have concluded that I will never have the time to build the car the way I want to. The Good: -No wrecks, and all the original VIN tags are in place. Good platform to start a build. -No dents other than dings than can be removed with paintless dent removal. Although the body has quite a few dings, a PDR session could make the entire car ding-free. The Bad. -The rear subframe bushings are completely shot. Car will make 'thud' noises on hard stops. - The tachometer is not working (needle jumps around). Was going to pick up a used tach from a JDM S14, but don't have the time. -The previous owner installed some ugly speakers in the door cards. I have a mint set of 98 door cards I can include with the car, depending on sale price. -Engine bay is filthy, and I have no time to clean it. Again, if interested please contact me via PM or at [email protected] |

Miles are pretty high bit if the car looks great in person you might get close to that price.
If I were you I'd just get the laundry list done and stick to your guns on price. Bump for an all original car!

If you can get documentation regarding the engine rebuild to go along with it that may help you out. I know personally I don't trust random people to rebuild an engine properly.
