Sorry about the delay, dudes. Sadly, these are the only pics I have at this point, and they are pretty terrible The color is pretty awesome- I am really happy with it! It's a lot glossier than my Works were. I don't think these pictures really do them justice- I will have to get it out in the daylight ASAP. Still working on the camber and whatnot, but I think I got the height dialed. I had to bring the front down about 3 turns because of the smaller front tire, so it is scary low now- I've gotta say that anyone with a 215/40 on the front of a type X is a boss for driving it like that. I'll try to wash it and get some pictures tonight or tomorrow. I've gotta drive it to see how it settles and see if it rubs out back right now. I'll be taking it in for an alignment early next week. Thanks a lot to my buddy Mike for coming out and giving me a hand last night! Here are the specs again, since I am sure someone will ask: Volk TE37 17x9 +15 Yokohama S-Drive 215/40/17 Volk TE37 18x9.5 +12 Yokohama S-Drive 225/40/18 Damon Last edited by CamryOnBronze; 07-31-2017 at 07:44 AM.. |

You say the pics don't look good, but i say they look really good.
Nice job. also, I have to give you (and Broadfield, 95KA-Turbo, and the others that keep this level too) props for keeping focus through long, and sometimes, difficult builds with attention to detail that is lost on we mere mortals Keep up the good work, the few cars like yours are what keep me pushing through the hard times. <3 the car.... |

I do have some modified fender shields that I run, but they are not back on the car yet. I took them off while repainting the front end this winter and haven't bothered to reinstall them yet.
That was my first car, and the origin of "CamryOnBronze." She's my winter beater now. Here she is in her prime, circa 2005 lol: SUPER DUMPED BREH. That's rough man, haha. Here are the actual snaps for everyone. It was cloudy/rainy almost all day yesterday, but I tried to catch some sun really quick. I drove it to work today and everything seems peachy! Getting used to the new height. Tires that aren't bald sure make a difference in ride quality, haha. I'll have it out/wash it tomorrow and get some better pictures. Appreciate the compliments! |

While it is kind of a thread jack (and I would advise against doing that so that you don't piss people off,) I can see what the intention was. Looks like you have a lot of work ahead of you! Glad I could bring you some inspiration.
Here is a cell pic of the car being a street car and whatnot: [Image Lost] It's finally looking really low to me (for my standards, anyway.) I'm hoping to finally wash it and get some decent pics of it tomorrow. Appreciate all of the comments! Last edited by CamryOnBronze; 07-31-2017 at 07:46 AM.. |
