Got my hood to close finally. Had to trim some decent pieces out of the bottom to clear the VQHR intake plenum and both intake tubes.

Definitely was painful cutting into this thing. Went ahead and installed some new period correct Sparco hood pins too.

All y’all running vented on a S14 - what companies are still offering spot on figment? Looking at getting something with all these Trump Bucks but haven’t really landed on anything yet. Considering either DMAX or BN but open.

BN will fit nice... Origin isn't terrible... DMAX is hit/miss to be honest.

I just got a shift sports FRP through streeter. Figment isn?t great. It?s ok. I still need to try and make some fender adjustments though.

I ended up ordering a BN Sports Type II. I’ll check back in 2 years when it shows up on fitment.

anyone know if the seibon ta hood for the s14 kouki will fit with a 2jz ? I'm 2jz swapped with a clutch fan and want to make sure it fits. Another option is the origin type 2 hood but don't know if that style actually works for keeping the car cooler and getting the hot air out.

All I can tell you is I have the TR style and it had a 2ZJ in it with a top mounted turbo and it fit. The turbo heat faded the clear coat which is why my hood is sprayed black now.

As for the other one, I have no idea.

The Origin hood would most likely clear but I don't think those vents at the top do as much cooling as the ones in the middle above the clutch fan shrouds.

My BN Sports type II. Installed right out the box, but def needs a little fitting. Pretty spot on though. Bumper is sagging a bit also.

Ok cool, thank you for the info bro. I?m really leaning towards the seibon hood. I need to cool this 2jz down when sitting in traffic with my ac on.
