My car is acting strange now, when i floor it, the turbo will spool and you will begin to feel the car start to pull then all of a sudden the air/fuel ratio goes rich and the power dies, and the wastegate opens quickly. So i know the car is goin into retard, my question is why is it doin that?

the car is a 96 skyline rb25det

my list of mods are:

walbro 255lph fuel pump
z32 maf
hks ss
garret gt3076 ar 82.
safc2

can anyone lend sum help?

vac/boost leak.

boost stays pegged at 10psi

it can still be leaking, just cause it's still at 10psi dosen't mean your turbo's aren't working extra hard to keep it there, not to mention you can be running pig rich. just do a boost leak test.

yea, ima go over all the couplings tomorrow, because i checked to see if i had any cel's in the ecu and everything is fine. ima change my fuel filter and plugs tomorrow and see if that does anything

You need to get a Power FC on that motor. Id say eithe ryour map is really F'ed up, boost leak, or depending on where in the RPMs your VTC might be the issue.
