Nismo Heritage Dead?

So it seems Nismo Heritage parts are all listed as Discontinued. Is this correct? Covid killed the program?

Plenty of parts to be had. Suggest you Google Translate to see the MOQ requirements listed.

So they still list parts -

Example :
FENDER-REAR LH
78113-RHR20 (78113-05U30)
126,000 yen ($1,006.24)
138,600 yen (With Tax) ($1106.86)

Only Site I found that isn't retarded on shipping (Nengun) is Megazip but they want $1,657/each - however shipping is "only" $756.

Nengun is $1,200/each + $2,372 shipping. But add 62022-RHR20 for $1,036 and shipping skyrockets to $3,646. I can ship a fucking car for that from Japan (just about).

So in your expert opinion, what is my best path to source -

BUMPER SET FR
62022-RHR21 (62022-05U27)

FENDER-REAR RH
78112-RHR20 (78112-05U30)

FENDER-REAR LH
78113-RHR20 (78113-05U30)

And maybe a

TRANS ASSY
32010-RHR30 (32010-12U60)

For those rates, you may as well fly there and enjoy yourself. I don’t think they’re open to tourists yet though. You’ll have to figure out the oversized baggage piece of the airlines as well. It could be great once they reopen if there’s less tourists (or there could be pent up demand).

First off, stop using Nengun or any sites out of Japan if your items are larger than your average exhaust box.

Use a broker, or someone that buys regularly from Japan via ocean freight. All of the freight prices on Nengun are absurd because that's normal. They will not just randomly stuff item(s) into a bumper box for shipping, and also most of the parts from Nissan/Nismo do not come in boxes or packaging for any type of shipping.

Air freight loose car is EXPENSIVE. VERY EXPENSIVE. You are quoted outright retail prices. It's no different than UPS small package, a 10lb box from NYC to LAX is about ~$10-15 cost for a large volume shipper, and about 3-4x if you walk into a UPS Store without a UPS account.

If you are serious about buying any/all of these things, there are plenty of brokers that can get it out of Japan for you for a decent price. Or email me at my email address in my signature, I can give you a price landed in SoCal, but it will probably take a long time and subject to all the conditions Nismo listed on their site for production.

But if you want the lowest price, there are plenty of existing importers of parts that can get you a better price than me.

Cannot bring it back, these are 2x rear quarter panels, 1 front bumper, and a transmission assembly.

No airline will allow you to carry these as checked luggage, even if you paid for it. Additionally it will be treated as any other checked luggage, so it will get crushed.

Find someone who is getting cars and containers shipped over and rent some space on it. I did that for some time. Worked out well when getting stupid things like kits or YAJ/UPGARAGE finds.
