SR Redtop Boost Solenoid Install?
Hey everyone,
Just swapped in a redtop into my s14. Between trying to get a good ecu from the engine supplier and make all final preps for starting, i was trying to make my engine as efficient as possible. I have been reading up on the OEM boost solenoid and I havent been able to get a real answer on it. I have searched quite a bit but I'm sure I missed it or something (flame here). Heres my question. So, you have the two nipples on it, one on the outside and one on the inside closer to the wiring. Do I hook the outside one up to a nipple on the hotpipe and the other to the wastegate actuator? And the wiring...is that optional or do I have to have it wired? My WS harness does not have this connection in the bay nor is it pinned on the ecu plug. Much appriciation to your help. I hope to be boostin' this weekend |

I'm pretty sure it has to be wired in to work correctly.
Are you sure you searched very hard? I have an oem boost solenoid for sale too. Last edited by TheRealSy90; 07-25-2013 at 12:55 AM.. |
