G62 is a 3 prong maf, g20 is 4 prong maf

Pic of maf and engine you have goes along way.

Does anyone know what this wire goes to^? I was pulling ac lines off yesterday, didn’t realize there was a wire zip tied to the line, it’s the drivers side ac line coming off the condenser, car is as 95 240sx. looked all over the place but couldn’t find where it goes to. pretty sure it doesn’t go to anything on the engine, i don’t remember taking this out of anything. Thanks!

vacuum

I have a s13 sr and am currently trying to figure out my vacuum lines. Here is what I have.

-hotpipe > boost control solenoid > wastegate
-fpr > top left nipple on intake ( I was told not to T this off for boost gauge)
-top right intake nipple to bov (greddy type s the two ports confuses me)
-someone said bottom left I can use for boost gauge????? (couldnt I just run boost gauge from a nipple on the hot pipe similar to the BCS set up)
- where do you guys route your map sensor vacuum from? (haltech elite 1000 internal map)

please give me ideas on how to run all of this

BEFORE you guys flame me for not searching. I have searched for the past few days. (maybe its time we update stickies, and or forums. the search function on this sight isnt that great)

Boost guage needs a soucre after the throttle body so it can read vacuum and boost.

Map sensor sensor same as boost guage.

If needed u can drill and tap the i take manifold to.add another source

Will this VLSD fit?

I have been looking at lots of different posts and cant come to a 100% answer.

I bought a VLSD recently and it is in a ABS S14 housing, and want to know if I can take the VLSD and put it in a Non-ABS s13 open diff housing to make it work? If so do I replace everything from the s14 to the s13?

The S14 diff has the 6-bolt output shafts like my s13 diff.

Ka24e maf works on sr20, but does sr20 maf work on Ka24e?

Just bought a stock air box and it just comes with a sr20 maf and was wondering if that works or if I should use a different one. I have a Ka24e SOHC.

Also I don’t have emissions parts but the car runs good, do I need the emissions to pass smog?

If there was a leak in the intake manifold gasket between the coolant passage and the first cylinder port would it make a similar situation to a blown head gasket? I inspected the spark plugs and they look decent to sorta fouled

Hey PM me, I have a KA24E maf I could sell you for cheap. Is it a 3 pin or 4 pin connector?

SR20DET intake manifold

So i gotta question for you guys, at what power level should i consider an aftermarket intake manifold for my sr? For now I will be running an apexi ax53b70 turbo with injectors and all the other goodies, looking for 340-380 whp. Will I need an aftermarket manifold to achieve this power? i will later be switching to the gtx2867r and hope to be making somewhere between 400-500 whp, i know that at that point i will need a new manifold but i want to know if i can wait to upgrade the manifold until i get the garrett or if i should go ahead and upgrade now.

Stock manifold ive seen work well on 400hp cars. Really no need to upgrade shooting for numbers around there. Greddy and hypertun manifolds just look baller in the bay^^^^

You will make less torque down low with any of those aftermarket intake manifolds. For your power goals with either of those turbos the stock intake manifold will make the most torque and won't limit horsepower. They're good till around 500.

what he means is because of how short the runners are on most aftermarket S13 intake manifold (KA or SR or CA), you will lose low end torque. longer runners help create low end torque (i cant explain the science of it to you, but thats how it works). short runners like the Greddy intake manifold take away bottom end torque, but because the runners are short and plenum is much larger, on a TURBO motor, this means that mid to top end will gain more power due to the amount of air that can be inducted due to a larger capacity plenum. the motor works less in mid and top end to draw air into the motor itself.

keep one thing in mind though, the stock ECU is TUNED for the air flow that the stock intake manifold draws in across the powerband. without a stand alone, adding a greddy/freddy style intake manifold to a stock computer wont net you a lot of gains. you will most likely notice that before boost, your bottom end of the power band is going to be absolute shit! (not that its all that great on redtop/blacktop motors as they dont have VVT like the notchtops do to compensate for boost lag)

I want to do quick release steering wheel but I’m confused

Do I buy the quick release and then a wheel made for it?

Or is the quick release designed to fit different steering wheels even ones not made by the same brand? (Nrg)
