Lightbulb s14 KA head swap on an s13 block

I'm attempting to do a head swap on my s13 engine and put an s14 head on it. I was wondering if there are any special steps that need to be taken to make it happen? Any information would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion, both of those are on. I want to find out if I have to drill, tap, and plug anything because I've read in other forums that you have to do that, but have not gotten a clear answer as to where to do it or if I even have to do it

You are correct. I was mistakenly reading info on the sr20 ka, lol. The head is on, the car turned just needed to mess with the timing a bit. It's alive again.

I read on KA-T.org that the idler sprockets should not be mixed between S14 and S13 KA heads - something along the lines of the idler bolts being different lengths.
