Check out http://www.redlineoil.com/

I use the Lightweight Shockproof Gear oil in both my cars and love it. Its called lightweight but its actaully heavier than the stock weighted oil. I use a 75W140 weight oil. And I reccomend all 5speed 240SX owners do the same. Stock is a 75w-90 so it dosent hurt to get a 75W140. I would reccomend getting a GL4 Based oil, the shockproof stuff is GL5 and can hurt your syncro's.

Differentials can use the heavier weight too. I think Redline has something like 75w140NS. Its made just for Differentials, I think. Read about it on their site.

Perhaps you should check the date before commenting on 20yr old posts.

Moving forward, 75w-140 is the weight of the oil. The first number indicates the viscosity cold. The second number is what it becomes once warm.
