I am selling my garage kept 1978, 5-Speed Datsun 280z. Every time I bring this car out, I get stares and compliments from everyone. The title is clean, and in my name. The car has 144k original miles on both the body and motor. This will continue to go up as I drive it. Body and frame are 100% free from rot and is completely straight. There are very few Z's around in this great of condition, specifically with a 5 speed. The car handles feels very tight and taught. There is slight blue smoke on deceleration which is expected of the original motor of this age.That being said, the motor starts up cold quickly and runs strong. The exhaust gives it a great Japanese muscle car rumble at idle, and it also screams at higher RPMs. The interior is absolutely in mint condition, the carpets were just replaced along with the seats. The dash only has a single crack in it and is also in great condition. All the electrics in the car work, including the interior and exterior lights, wipers, speedo, tach, volt gauge, oil pressure, clock keeps time accurately, fuel gauge, and EVEN THE POWER ANTENNA! Fresh oil and filter change, its ready to go to a new home!
