So your trying to put a s13 flywheel on a s14? It should work as long they are both manual flywheels. They are interchangeable.

Is there not a sensor in the s14 flywheel?? There is a pickip sensor of some type ok the trans I'm new to these 240 issues

There is a crankshaft position sensor on the s14 tranny, not on the flywheel itself. You'll just get a CEL only because you don't have the s14 flywheel. It has magnets or a notch of some sort to trigger the sensor, but the s13 flywheel will work.

Do u know how it works. Does it calculate crank position by counting teeth?

I'll have to look on arrides.com. I know the guys on there recommended some machine shops a while back.

Hey it would be nice to get a meet set up sometime soon. I'll drive down from Fayetteville to come if we get one set up. I'll be at the one tm at clinton library also.

I can meet up if my car gets finished!!!!! Motor is in, just have to mount intercooler and piping, attach harness to eng, lower harness and add fluids. The lower harness is intimidating me tho oh and attach exhaust.
