Will an SR downpipe fit on an S14 KA Manifold?

Hey, I was wondering if an SR downpipe would fit on an S14 KA Manifold, it really looks like it will. It seems like my s14 stock exhaust manifold exhaust flange sits a bit behind the steering column, just like the SR turbo elbow exhaust flange does.

I contacted Enjuku Racing about their SR Downpipe, but of course they said it will only fit on turbo applications since they wouldn't want to be held accountable so I could get a return on it.

Thank you for any input, I searched on this forum and saw 2 posts on it and just one accurate reply saying that "it'll fit", but I wanted to make sure so I don't waste my money.

I tried years ago and it didn't work. I do remember it being close enough that it could probably have worked with minimal modification.

Was it too close to the frame? ISR has a KA-T downpipe which is the sr downpipe except with a 2 inch extension to make it sit lower.

I remember being able to bolt it on half-assly because the angle of the flanges left a large gap. It might have also been interfering with the chassis also. This was like15 years ago..

Ah I see, thanks for the input. I may buy the KA-T Downpipe, it's supposed to be 2 inches longer on one end to get more clearance.

Do you still own a 240 by any chance?
