Winter sucks. The car is kind of on the backburner for the moment, as it's winter, and I'm trying to focus on a few other things in life, here are some small updates though:
The LS needs a crank polish and a full refresh.

I snagged a spare KA in case I blow this 230k+ one up.
Some used SPL RUCA's that need new bearings: And a Torque Solutions Delrin shift knob (it's the small things, you know? hahaha). He's looking rather beat, I need to get some aero parts soon (and an entire new front end):

KA got hot and decided to start knocking while I was doing this:
So we yanked it out and put the spare in: The TDP kit is taking a beating in all this salt, and the tie rod heims have developed a tiny bit of play. I'll be going through and replacing all of them in the spring. Also, I had tucked my harness up in the fender, but apparently not enough: So I did some repair work and made this jank plate until the summer when I can rewire the car:

So, some random updates here. Trying to get the car ready for No Star Bash.
Put it at summer ride height: Installed these dual LED headlights that are actually ridiculously bright. Replaced my orange shooter muffler with a quieter one and fabbed a new exhaust. DOH, gotta pull the quarters a bit: And my geometry is still pretty good considering the height. I think I'm going to either buy a Cor Integration sway bar for the front and a Whiteline in the rear, or move up to 11/8 springs.

Lots has been going on, but I'm keeping it under wraps for a while.
For now, the new goal is to look something like this:

See the bumper cut out on this, I don't prefer this, I've found a better looking alternative on the same bumper in this video (imo loads better, possibly with a little glass work), check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3n3MFR2zXU

So I did a thing and registered for No Star Bash again this year. Let's hope I can get the turd together. I have to refresh the suspension, buy and install the engine, get some tires and fenders, etc. Lots to do! Engine is under wraps until I get it mounted, I don't want you all to laugh at me, ahhahahah. I also picked up a clean Chuki bumper.
I can't believe I didn't post No Star Bash '15 pictures in here. So to hold you over here are a few.

They're just twin projectors from ebay. I don't have any direct pictures of it, I'll snag some tomorrow.

Updates:
Work on the bay continues. KA is gone. Tubs soon. This years recipe is less camber and less caster in the front.

So I'm hoping to run a sway bar on the front of this thing, because it's going to be nice and low and I don't really want to A. rub when I'm taking turns at speed or B. Destroy fenders all the time.
After doing some searching around the internet, I noticed that S14 bars had quite a different shape to them than S13 ones. Found a local with a stock S14 bar and mocked it up: Then I bolted the mounts up: Angle clearance looks to be awesome, with very little reduction in available angle if any once the car is a half inch or more lower. Oil pan clearance is definitely reduced, luckily the engine I'm using has a pretty small lower pan, so it just may clear!

Thats good to know on the s14 front bar. I intend to use the gktech one thats currently in development, but if that falls through is is alsoa good alternative. Also the tdp front kit, does it include a dropped balljoint shank or something similar to that for correction, that allows the end of the front lca to sit at a lower angle/less angle to improve the camber curve, like you mentioned a few post up about how the lca angle at this height still isnt this bad.

UPDATE TIME! The oil pan is definitely going to fit. Picked up some used 245/40/17's to test fit. They fit: Here you can see how my chassis was tearing itself apart. THese are in the fenderwell against the firewall. So I started the tubs and stitch welded the front end.

I thought you were going ls? What'd you end up deciding on? Or is it a secret for suspense. Anyway, I dig this build. Car looks the perfect amount of haggard and put together well.

Eeeeee. Chassis tearing it self apart, no Bueno. Any idea what caused it? Obviously aggressive driving, but how was the chassis twisting or contorting to cause that, and what are you implementing to control/reduce it

You can decipher the swap if you look hard enough, but I'm trying to get it running before I "announce" it. Quote:
I've stitch welded the entire front chassis, and I have a stealth custom fab strut tower bar on both ends now. The car should roll less with the bigger anti-roll bars this year, but I'm not sure if that will help or hurt haha.
