S14 wipers, power mirrors, cig lighter all dead

S14 wipers and power mirrors dead.

both worked fine, now neither work. i replaced the ignition switch, checked all the small fuses in the fuse box under the hood and in the kick panel. i felt all 3 blue relays activate in the kick panel when i turn the key. looks like power to the cigarette lighter is gone too, and possibly the clock. what could be the culprit?

i found the related diagrams in the fsm but that stuff just goes right over my head.

so i pulled my fender off and pulled my harness down to check and sure enough, there were 5 wires that rubbed through and were exposed/damaged. (yes my loom was wrapped)

hopefully that's my issue. i'll report back after i repair them.

so im sure those wires played a part in creating my issue but it was ultimately a relay.

i decided to test the 3 blue relays in my kick panel again but this time by swapping them out one by one with the blue AC relay from my engine bay. and sure enough, once i replaced the accessory relay i regained power and control of my... accessories! (wipers, mirrors, 12v)

having a multimeter or something probably would have been beneficial lol
