Cool sr20det Holset- spare a few help's?

Stock Redtop(255walbro,hks-ssqv,fmic) running 12psi-previous owner's work- been driving around with a blown turbo for a month+half......... i've been working on putting a HY35 in there. SO far i have
the turbo,
1.3mm cometic hg,
arp studs,
550 pinktop injectors,
n60 maf,
topmount gsp exhaust mani,
recirculated ebay rs bov,
60mm ebay external wg,
topfeed fuel rail,
and oil cooler i think thats all i need.. (input?)
i plan to Hitemp spray and heat wrap it all for cooling and get a new clutch. Now, i need some help with the tuning part since im on a minimum wage budget and i have no idea what im doing. i took this quarter off to fix it because its my only transportation. I read that ROM tuning is cheapest so im willing to go buy a moates daughterboard and G840 programmer if it's possible for me to learn and apply in 10 weeks.. (input?)

LAST resort is to send enthalpy my ecu and get a safc.. Cheers! +happy new years!

Don't get an safc ever. Rom tune from enthalpy will be cheapest for your mods/budget. You will probably need a new turbo elbow and modify the exhaust since youre going top mount.
The brake booster probably will need a heat shield too to keep it from melting

ive read that the safc2 has more options and will be helpful with "fine tuning" the ROMs whatever that means, is this true and will it benefit the babe?

i just did a topmount conversion on my bro's rb20 so i was able to figure most of the fab work for mine but thanks for the speedy response mang.
