Replacing 6th gear on s15 spec r tranmission

Hey guys hope yall are staying safe during the pandemic.

I have a question regarding which replacement gear to buy for my s14's transmission. A little background on the car, i bought the car from an import dealer a few months ago. It came with an sr20det and a s15 spec r 6 speed transmission. Well a couple days ago i noticed when i shifted into 6th gear i heard a grinding crunching noise and it wouldnt stay in gear. So i had my uncle whose a mechanic check it out and it came down to replacing the 6th gear in it.

I wanted to know if i should buy the OEM gears or buy the nismo variant of the gears needed. Money isnt a issue i just want to know if the nismo variant is worth the extra money.

Well you're going to have to decide if you want to change the 6th gear ratio as the Nismo gear are a different ratio than OEM.
