mine do that same thing. also if my key is out and i turn my lights on all my accessories turn on like my key is set to the on position.... haha

The supras belt stays loose almost 80 % of the time. But when i sweet talk her.. the belt tightens up... we have a connection

the s13... well... for some reason the brights light ( the blue one ) will stay on even when my lights are turned off and the ignition has no key in it.. I have to gently push the light lever forward until its almost between bright and low beam.

I did the Sr swap and my ac works but its super weird. Everytime i turn the ac on it blows a fuse but if i press defrost button my ac works perfectly fine with the blown fuse still in.

sometimes my driver side headlight randomly turns on while im driving. i have to turn my lights to the full on position then turn them off -.-; now i gotta make sure the dumb light isnt on whenever i park so my battery doesnt die. oh, and my headlights dont go up or down. i think the switch is making bad contact, just havent taken the time to take a look at it.

one day i pushed the button for the headlights just to pop them up and after i got to the place then pushed to pop them down and after they went down, the right light popped up and down really quick. it has happened two times.

Yesterday I turned my car and my lights off and walked away from it for a couple minutes. When I came back both headlights were up but only the left one was lit up. I checked to see if I had left them on and a bulb burnt out but no.. they were off. I turned the brights on (pushed the thing forward) without twisting the lights on and it just stayed the same. Then I turned my lights on and off and it was fine again lol.

My headlights only pop up when I pull back on the headlight switch for my high beams. Weird.

My tach reacts to my music most of the times. Starts to happen mostly when I have been driving around for 15 min. or so. So it starts jumping from the rpm the engine is on up to wherever it wants to go depending how much bass is in the song haha. But if I step on the gas pedal it reacts normally. Actually funny when I have someone with me and the engine is idling and it starts jumping to the beat and they notice it. Some of them were like: why is that needle dancing to the music? did you do that on purpose?
Still have to go and check the wiring back there but doesn't bother me that much for now.

oh where to start. While driving the headlights keep going up and down no matter if i touch the switch or not. wipers come on as soon as key is turned unless they are un plugged. clock on dash and wideband both cut out when the driver side door is open and come back on when it is closed. wierder note here, wideband and boost gauge wired to same power and ground source. boost wont cut off with door open though.

When I first installed coil overs about a year ago I didn't know I needed to re route my wiring harness in the drivers side fender. I didn't know it was a problem till I lost all lights and ac. After fixing all of the broken wires and replacing popped fuses everything works but my ac. The electric ac fan turns on the instant I turn the car key forward. All fuses are good, all wires are good as far as i can tell. no ac. It worked perfectly fine before but now nothing. Still can't figure it out. I assume it's a wiring issue due to the ac efan kicking on instantly but I don't know what else to check

speed 1 on the wipers, and the defrost button. it works completely fine, then next time I drive it does nothing. what's weird is it's very consistent on every other time I drive the car.

My highbeams are always on. One of them at least. Turning the highs on will turn on the second.

Previous owner(s) did some extra janky shit with the harness and I don't even know where to begin.

I'm not sure if it's an electrical problem or not.

So my car is a 1990 Q's Silvia( manual seat belts ). Whenever I sit down and put my seatbelt on. If I lean forward and stretch the seatbelt out a little bit, The slack stays out. But the second that I open my door at tightens back up and everything is normal.

Absolutely zero idea why.

My clock randomly stopped working one day and my radio will not work unless its connected to the radio metal chassis with a screw even though the ground is hooked up elsewhere..

My cluster turns off when I turn the lights on but stays on when the lights are on.. on top of that at least once a week for a couple of hours only half of my cluster will light up when my lights are on and then it goes black again... lol everything works except the lighting on it. hahaha

The driver's side door speaker in my 92 S13 coupe makes a loud static noise that overrides or kills the music on both the front and rear speakers on that side, it also does this when the stereo is turned off but the key is turned to ACC position. I've pulled the door panel and checked the wires but can not find the problem is there anyone who has had this same issue before? Thank you.

That?s probably either the switch itself or a relay.
