1990 Toyota Chaser VIN: GX816286643

Here is a beautiful example of a GX81 Chaser that previously resided in Sapporo, Japan. The exterior has had zero paint work, and the original two-tone paint is very impressive. While the body lines are difficult to appreciate in photos, you can appreciate the width and lowered stance. The old-school Kranze 3-piece wheels are a perfect match for the exterior.

The interior is very clean and tidy, no rips or tears in the upholstery. The carpet, original floor mats, and headliner are all in excellent shape. The factory Pioneer stereo is still present and works great. A/C is ice cold and the auto climate control adds to the sport luxury.

In typical Toyota fashion, the inline-6 revs freely, with great low-end response. The GP exhaust looks fairly new, and has a perfect tone. The W57 transmission is smooth, no grinds, no pop-outs. Brakes feel great with a firm pedal and quiet response. The car tracks straight, and is very rewarding to drive.

While this is a non-1JZ model, it's something that is ready to be enjoyed right away. If you're looking to put some serious power through those rear wheels, a 1J/2J swap is very straight forward, and you have a beautiful slate to work with that is unmolested.

Drivetrain:
1G-FE, 2.0 liter, inline 6-cylinder. W57, 5-speed transmission, rear-wheel drive
