First of all, that is a really clean s13. What a quick turnaround though… Why the change of heart?

I'm not sure I understand the problem with the dripping oil though? He put too much oil. Oil change and now the oil pan gasket is leaking???

You'll be providing California smog paperwork for the transfer?

This is my 5th S13 in a span of 4 years. I'm kinda over it and want to get back to an S14.

The previous owner put too much oil when doing an oil change. The extra pressure in the pan is causing the oil to leak/drip through the gasket.

The car currently doesn't have a cat on it. For the right price and car, I'll take care of the smog.

Car now has CA title and under non-op. New title will be coming in the mail in 2-3 weeks ready for transfer. The nice lady at AAA also told me that DMV form REG 227 can be used in place of a title for transfer too so if someone wants to purchase the vehicle before the new title comes in, I can release liability on the vehicle and transfer the title that way as well.

I can see smog equipment missing from the engine bay. Might help to point out that new owner will likely have to put everything back on as it won't pass smog as it sits.

Also, too much oil when filling up is not the reason a gasket goes bad. ever. Whoever told you that is lying or misguided. The gasket is bad or the pan mating surface is uneven/damaged. Chances are it's a rear main seal leak though, I have one on my car and looks like it's oil coming from the pan, but it's not.
