s13 or s14 shouldnt matter, only thing is s14 uses one more short bolt and one less long one.

Ahh nope. I can assure you that's not the case. S13 is M6 and S14 is M8. I have drilled and tapped more than half the holes in my cylinder head because even at the FSM-specified 60 in-lb of torque, I am still stripping threads clean out of the head.

Nissan must have realized this was asinine and enlarged the bolt interface to fix this for the S14. Altimas have different style bolts as well FWIW. Have yet to find a DOHC pickup in the yard.

I have never really thought of torquing valve cover bolts at all. I may have missed that on the FSM, so its suppose to be 60 ft/lb?

60 in-lb.

or 5 ft-lbs, but most gauges aren't accurate that low on a ft-lb torque wrench.

I have found similar hardware on McMaster-Carr. But, then I'm adding the need for allen head tools, which would annoy me. I like how everything is either a 10mm or 12mm. Also, it'd be like $30. Little steep.

Studs I had not thought of though, interesting idea! Again, that adds more pieces than I'd like though because I think I'd need sleeves and nuts and shit...

I'm just being finnicky. I honestly don't even need a full set, I'm only missing a couple bolts to complete a set of S14 hardware.
