1981 Corolla WAGON rwd TE72. BadAss cruiser/Shag wagon. Mint interior. Runs. Smogged!
MAJOR PRICE DROP. trying to get a down payment on a new car by new year.
Up for sale is my 1981 corolla wagon (te72). Pains me to do this but time to grow up and not have 3 cars. Also getting more serious in to competitive drifting. This is the first car to go. Will also soon be listing my 05 350z (willing to work out a deal if someone is looking to buy both haha) TRADES are welcomed. But keep in mind im getting rid of cars to GROW UP. Do not want beat 240s or other various projects. MOST interested in trade for LS motor/swap parts for s13. Race fabrication (roll cage, tube front end, various projects i have etc), a trailer that'll fit a s13, or even a more race orientend chassis. PRICE:$1800 Info: 1981 Corolla Wagon. rear wheel drive. te72 chassis. California car. Unknown miles. Odometer is stuck on like 68,xxx i believe. These things are starting to get rare and go up in price. Im sure if i put it on blocks and cut the springs with some fancy wheels I could get double the asking. hahah. and keep in mind these are just pictures off my cell phone in my garage/front of complex. ...anyways this car is ALL stock. I prided myself on keeping this corolla very original and clean. Great base for a restoration or serious project. Or buy and cruise it to your hearts content! *Car gets KILLER gas millage. *JUST PASSED SMOG. No cheating. No bullshit. *Tags/registration/paperwork all up to date. Just pay to change over title and go...unlike most those older cars with hoops and BS to jump through. -I use it to drive to work/class/the beach. super fun cruiser and runs great! (so driven 4-6 days a week with no issues) -Car is well taken care of. Again I just use it to cruise. I have a 350 and 240 to be speed racer in. INTERIOR: -interior is MINT -headliner looks like new. seats have no issues very clean. -Pulled carpet to check for rust and was clean. -Dash does have some crack. (it was the 80s...) -Radio works. tape player works. Time to dig out those old 80s hair metal tapes...or will throw in my tape with aux cord to play your ipod. SHIT thats a $15 value. -Interior /dash lights work -Rear seats fold down. Can fit you plus one or two bitches/dudes. Camped out the back few times. -odometer and speed does NOT work. i assume its the same sensor for both -but gas/temp gauges work EXTERIOR: -white -minimal rust for age. some around front driver fender, rear bumper area and front lip (removable) and various little surface rust areas. (not bad at all. just be upfront and not trying to waste any ones time. easily repairable and probably just sand right off) -will include abs volvo lip to replace/put on for more aggressive look -paint is decent but not perfect. -Car is straight -various dents on driver side -roof and rockers (usually problem areas) are perfect -i removed rear bumper for looks but will be included with sale -seals all great condition no leaks -missing rear driver marker at the moment (someone stole it or something) but new ones in mail at moment. -head/tail lights great condition -front grill is cracked but easy fix MECHANICAL/ENGINE: -3tc motor. auto -super clean underhood -runs solid idles and shifts smooth -suspension is soft and rides like a damn caddy -power steering Car has NEW alternator NEW starter NEW-ish battery NEW thermostat Carb rebuild NEW wires NEW cap and rotor NEW fuel pump NEW fuel filter NEW air filter New fluid through out (except brake fluid and ps but will be done soon) ....and more im sure im forgetting. Most of that wasn't 'needed' but bought as preventative over time. Probably needs new mani gasket and down pipe gaskets + re-torquing everything to be 100%. then a pipe/muffler welded so exhaust exits rear of car. Will also work on this time permiting untill car sold Please feel free to contact with any questions. Tried to list everything in attempt to be as up front about the car as possible. I wont waste your time, dont waste mine. All in all its a super solid car that drives great and people love! Just needs some body work and wheels to be 100%Sad to see it go.
