Great write up man! There's a ton of useful information in here that i spent hours scouring for online. Hopefully this helps anyone who is interested in going KA-T in the future. I finished mine earlier this year and i love it. Hope you get your issues sorted soon dude. My motor was at about 260k when I pulled it to turbo it. I ended up stripping it down and doing a head gasket and new gaskets everywhere.

My setup

Sr t25
Sr 370
N60 Maf
Isis 255 fuel pump
PBM high mount IC
JWT ecu

Excellent post of a legit, well thought-out process in a place where the fanboy bs tends to shine through most. Quite a few things cleared up, and causes me to dig deeper into things i thought i knew. Well done!

timing

so I have a question about timing. I was under the impression that you must retard timing depending on the amount of boost you are running. is this true? or will my rs enthalpy ecu do this for me

^ RSenthalpy ECU's us the stock timing as a set point. The ECU will retard it for you within a fixed range.

You don't need to bump a 2 year old thread to tell us that. Just subscribe to it.
