WTB: PIVOT Fan Controller
I want to buy this item
I had one in an old car and I think it plugs into the ECU directly (temp sensor wire) Also if you happen to have the instructions for it, that would also really help! |

Avoid the Circuit Sports rep. I have it, ugly clear plastic, sensor wire broke when I touched it, now turns fans on - but they never turn off until the engine is shut off. POS.

The pivot doesn't use an external temp sensor. It takes signal from the existing cts in the car. All the other ones they sell now use a temp sensor that you have to install. I think its weird and I am wondering if this is a job for a variable resistor.

hmm that's actually cool it does that...the DCC one i recommended has the one to push between the radiator fins...does that one use a vampire tap or does it connect an alternate way to the cts?

I went with this one for $119.00, been using Dakota Digital boxes for years with zero issues. Dual fan w/ separate on temps. Not pretty though......
