I doubt most people will care about the light direction as long as they can say that they have bricks! With that being said I'll be a hypocrite and probably buy a pair.

the light dissipating marks are meant to divert light in specific directions and create a concentrated pattern. in modern day cars, those patterns are built into the lamp unit using the base and light caps to create said functionality. with the "bricks", not having those lines pointing in the correct direction plus moving the light plates in the back of the light to try and accomodate for LHD roads creates all the glare. if the glass pattern were pointed in the CORRECT direction, the halogens would work as well as GOOD sealed beams do. i have ZERO issues with my sealed beams in my flippies, why? because i dont run ebay crap and actually buy silverstar based headlights. if the glass were corrected and mated with a GOOD H4 bulb, you should have awesome visibility!

there's so much bank to be made for s13 silvia lights as an aftermarket option. Even japan would rock em if they looked halfway decent.

I would be so down for a set of these! Im scared to ruin my mint condition set that I paid $400 for. Fixing the light pattern would be a huge plus.

I'm interested! Hit me up! Hopefully these are made in decent quality. tho I might expect them to fog up on rainy days. great for those who drift their 240's and don't want to bash up factory ones. I'll keep my mint set in a box.

I may be speaking for myself, but i think a 1 piece headlight/corner combo would probably be even better than just brick replicas. (although not sure how it would bolt to the chassis. might be wishful thinking)

if a real enthusiast wants bricks, let them buy a OEM pair... lets get something made that will look good, and perform good.

hopefully they make these better than the kouki headlights they make. I have a set of kouki headlights from Spyder and they are crap..... They are not pnp and when i got them the passenger side reflector was broken so i couldnt aim the passenger side headlight. All i was offered was a partial refund.

i feel the same way really... if they looked the same, but shined properly, it would be badass. (price definitely has something to do with it too)

they better not expect to get legit bricks pricing for aftermarket...

if they do try charging upwards of $400 for a set of headlights, the output had better be better than Cibie H6054 housings, and come with IPF halogen bulbs. H4 low/high on outer bulb housing, and H1 high beam inner lamp.

a clear bricks headlight with freeform reflectors looks pretty damn good imo.

anything that will be a silvia bolt on headlight that has good light output is the # 1 concern..
