Help! SR20 swap now no electronics

So I pulled my blown sr out of my s13 and put the rebuilt one in. Added a fmic, greddy intake and some other stuff that doesn't matter, relocated the battery to the trunk, battery relocate was running 0g wire from what was on positive post to the battery in the trunk, battery grounded just to the trunk floor.

Here's the problem, I turned the key on, lights turned on etc, sat there like that for a minute. Turned the key a bit further to start the car and nothing, everything shut off. Now there's no power at all no matter where the key is. I unhooked the battery and hooked it back up, can't get any power at all to anything.

Any ideas? I checked fuses in the box by the throttle body and at the drivers foot panel, are there more?

Was the engine grounded to the chassis? If not, who knows what could have fried. I suggest disconnecting the battery and checking for shorts.

fixed it, car has power now

Problem has also been fixed.

- Make sure piece that connects to positive terminal is connected properly and battery has enough charge -

I bought a new battery and didn't realize it wasn't fully charged and I am not sure if the piece was connected properly either but it took me less than 5 minutes of driving for all my electronics to magically start working again. now the previous issue no longer occurs.

Okay first off the only situation where you will “fry” anything like an alternator fuse for example is if you reverse the battery terminal order ask me how I know this Ive done it on an is250 once on accident I doubt you would hurt the engine electronics without the motor being grounded because electricity needs ground to flow so without ground theres nothing flowing.

Seen multiple compnonets damged from reversing battery cables or jumping battery backwards.... not just a blown fuse

also grounding out the positive wire on the alternator against the frame! lol fuse still made contact when cold and randomly died...took about a week to find it and I only found it cuz I pulled the plastic off the top of the fuse to check it with a screwdriver!

At the most your going to blow fuses by reversing battery cables remember fuses are designed to protect the system if there isnt a fuse present the circuit is not closed its open. I dont see how you can damage a component and if so what component aside from fuses specifically would be damaged by reversing battery cables? If you had run something straight to power like an electric fan without a fuse that might definitely fry that I can see that happening. That or it may just spin the fan backwards.

Little bit different but i put a battery charger on reversed. Blew ecu, pcm, heater control unit, turbo timer, central locking, and a fried engine to chassis ground..

Wow steve that is very interesting to know thats interesting that happened but im sorry that had to happen you thats why I like to find + on the battery before I hook stuff like that up but I wont act like I havent been careless in doing stuff like that either it happens. Thats why i double/triple checked everything rebuildin my motor.
