s14 The S14 Ls1 Build Thread

so i was debating about this build for a long time and my friend had a ls in his s14 so i decided to step up my game

still need to put on my navan kit and do my paint and body work...but a build in progress

sold my sr20 swap and bought a motor for 1100 and a t56 trans for 1275
motor came with harness and ecu


cleaned everything up and installed a z06 flywheeland oem z06 luk clutch




bought the daft innovations lsx swap kit ...everything ready to drop in



waited a day or 2 to sort everything out and wait on starter and new spark plug wires and new 02 sensors


Mocking up motor mounts and front notched cross member


bought a oem gto pan and front sump pickup and gasket


the next day i started to drop the kit in



motor sittin pretty ready to start installing the smaller parts


Installed the ss fuel lines from erals fittings


installed the daft innovations long tube headers


Stared on wiring...converted the ls1 harness to a stand alone harness and had the ecm re flashed and a base map put on the ecm


Installed the new wilwood clutch master and earls ss lines....dont have any pics of this......



with most of the stuff installed took a pic of the car sittin with everything in it




With Mostly Everything installed..... with my home depot intake piping for now till i build a nice intake.......


drove it down to the local exhaust shop ... my buddy aaron dunn ownes ,newhall muffler and fab to get the exhaust mocked up and welded in
