Since this things still for sale, I'm just gonna say what I was thrown off by as a potential buyer when I was in the market and I'm sure I'm not the only one: if you think it may just be a fuel pump, why not replace it? A new 255 is pretty cheap and another sale point. If you spray around the engine and find a vac leak, you don't even have to fix it, as long as you know the problem, located it and it's nothing crazy, I don't think anyones going to have an issue with it.
Not at all posting this in a hateful way, but this car is too clean to still be up, and with a little more insight into the issue it'd probably be gone within a week or so. And on a side note for any buyer turned off cause it's not a beat to shit LS, VHs are dirt cheap and indestructible. Running q45s are selling for nothing. My boss bought one with 210 on the clock and it's now at 294k with 0 issues besides a tired PS pump, and I promise you he does that thing no favors. |

Also, the misfire is so random, it hardly does it. Anytime someone has taken a look at the car, it hasn't done it, and has run like a bat outta hell. But I was being as honest as possible with people...bathe car runs great 99% of the time and that 1% it's runs pretty damn good anyways.

It's that AF integrity haha. I think everyone can appreciate the honesty. I suspect with a situation like that, an unfortunate portion of sellers would have never even mentioned it and chalked up to "it's a 240, bro" if the issue occurred during a test drive.
98', v8, clean paint and clean bay.. can't ask for more at this price point. |

Alright so I ran the diagnostic on the Ecu again and it is throwing a code for knock sensor. I assume one could be starting to fail. This is a cheap fix, just a tad time consuming. I will update original post as well...
