S14 Driveshaft

I'm almost done with my 1996 auto to manual swap and I can't seem to get the driveshaft in. I've measured it multiple times and it is the perfect length. It won't seem to sit all the way into the trans. When it goes about an inch into the trans, I jacked up the trans to force it in, and it will just push the trans and driveshaft to one side. So, I'm not really sure what to do at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
