4k ultra hd tv's?

I try to stay away from the Roku as much as possible haven't had good luck with them lasting long. When I do an install and the customer wants 4K streaming I supply a 4K BluRey player. Streaming through the Tv will decrease the Tv's life dramatically.

For those that use Apple Tv's they will be releasing a new model here in a month or so that will support ful 4k.

Current hdmi standard, 4k, HDR, 18Gbps, ARC from tv to AVR.

I won't comment on TV's failing from streaming Netflix through them.

I haven't any issues with any of my Roku's failing, sticks or the larger models.

I cant keep track of how many T-Con boards i replace in the Samsung because people stream on them.

And plenty of people have had to replace main boards in "dumb" Samsung plasmas.

But plasmas aren't in projection anymore lol. I probably fix more smart tv's then plasmas and most of the time with a plasma it's a bad capacitor.

All this broken plasma talk has my palms sweaty... My 8000 series 64" Samsung is still going strong, so hopefully it will not have to visit plasma heaven anytime soon.

Samsungs are my main tv that come in for repair that and Vizio

My Vizio is going on six years with me, after being a demo TV at Wal-Mart for an unknown period of time before that.

Zero issues thus far. Has fallen over a few times being moved from dorm to parent's house & back, from parent's house to my own house, etc.

Thing is a tank.

inb4 it doesn't turn on when I get home.

Welp... Hate to say it, but its that time again. Im sure the whole 4k thing has turn upside down and sideways along with OLED.

Been doing some research on a few (from my budget) and had my eyes set on a couple of them. Just recently got a "too good to be true" curve ball and wondering if anyone has or had any experience with this. Im talking about wholesale 🤔 some dude offered me new tv... 1/2 off price from bestbuy with 1yr warranty anything wrong bring it back or to manufacture.

??? Trust ????
