I want feedback about your engine mounts (SR20)

I've had some poly mounts in a couple different cars (non S chassis) ~ and lord jesus are mine harsh.

I installed some Circuit Sport polyurethane mounts in my S14 w/SR20. Don't get me wrong, the performance aspects of these stiff mounts are fantastic.

I expected vibrations, but my F these are horrendous. Guess that's what happens when you buy shit that has no development behind it.

What mounts do you have, and does your car sound like a bee's nest inside now?

Samsies, ran them for years with my s14/sr combo, 20+ drift events probably more, years of street driving. They've been awesome would run them again.

I've been running solid aluminum mounts since 2010... Honestly my car doesn't vibrate that bad. I even feel like other people's cars with poly mounts vibrate more than mine with solid mounts.

But yeah if you insist on poly, Drift Freaq is the way to go.

I have Nismo mounts and I didn't notice ANY increase in vibration over the worn stock ones.

Good looking fellas.

Ordered a set, cannot deal with these horrid vibrations any longer. I wish others could experience how intense it really is.

I enjoy the GKTech poly mounts. They are slightly more vibration than Nismo. I like how they do not have straight thru metal which helps. Now their solid trans mount is a different story lol.

Poly gearbox mount is on sale soon I am using the prototype on my car and its perfect, the solid one is quite harsh indeed, much more NVH increase than solid engine mount.

Do you know if Cusco is the same height as OEM? My Nismo ones are 20mm higher than OEM.

I wanted to try and find a cheap off the shelf mount before getting after market ones so decided to try some from an e34. They're about 4mm lower than the oem sr mounts and one stud is slightly offset from the center but so far so good...

How have these been working ? Do you remember with e34 you used ? Or does it matter ?

I ran driftfreaqs, I shredded two driver side mounts from launching and having lopey cams. Since the engine torques/lifts to the passenger side. Ended up doing a solid aluminum driver side mount with a driftfreaq passenger mount and its honestly no different feeling than having both driftfreaq mounts.

Theyre great mounts and just as calm as oem mounts at idle and driving.

Oh, and theyre incredibly easy to install.
