Help! 180sx speedometer failed, next step?

Hello,

I own a 93' 180sx, SR20DET.

Prepping the car for a safety and I can't seem to get the speedometer to work. I tested the ecu for faults, no errors. I pulled the speedometer sending unit out of the transmission and benched tested it serviceable. I swapped in a 240sx cluster, not only did the speedometer not work, but now the tach also didn't. I swapped over the speedometer unit from the 240sx cluster to my 180sx cluster. Once again the speedometer and tach don't work. I don't have a wiring diagram, I'm thinking of checking continuity between the pins outs coming from the cluster plugs and the sending unit. Would be lovely to have a spare 180sx cluster to slave in but it's an expensive piece and I'm not even sure it would fix it.

Anyone have any recommendation? I'm not against just slaving in a temporary speedometer to pass this safety..

- Seb
