SR20/ka24 injectors wont open

So im working on a buddies SR20det and from what i gathered is the injectors arent firing.

pump is deilvering fuel to the rail no question. my friend confirmed it sparks. i checked ignition timing and mechanical timing. we get nothing not even a struggled pop. and i cant smell any fuel after cranking it and playing with it.
I also confirmed 12v at each injector connector so they have definately got power but for what ever reason the ecu isnt pulling the trigger on them.

im leaning towards a bad wire, a bad distributor or a bad ecu
So main question. what could cause all 4 injectors to not fire (they 100% have power)

Ill be manually opening them later so no need to talk about clogged injectors.. that would be to easy and highly unlikely and im going to rule it out soon anyways

if you have spark, the ecu is working.

sounds like you have bad wiring or no ground. remove the wiring harness for the injectors and do a continuity test.

Is that the one for the injectors? we were trying to figure that out the other night cause that was one of our theories

we are starting to lean towards a bad CAS, everytime we plugged it in while cranking we would get 1 fire consistently and luckily we have access to a known good unit to try for every component including the motor XD

Check continuity like brndck said then if you have a noid light set, check if the ecu is pulsin the injectors. You get a constant 12v to the injectors and the ecu pulses ground to kick them on. Check all grounds to the motor and any ground that makes it to the ecu. Also helps to ask your friend to be honest and tell you if he’s been fucking with electrical. Whatever he touched, double check it.

you can also remove the cas, spin it, and you should hear the injectors click as the cas rotates. key must be on.

Unfortunately i can say with absolute certainty they wont open because what ever has failed has pretty much shit the bed at this point or still has a poor connection

Does fuel spray from fuel injector while turning the ignition switch? If not check for continuity from ecu harness to fuel injector plug. Check the factory manual which terminal to harness to fuel injector harness plug terminal.
