Dealer Price Guide - 240SX Pricing and Option Info

These were made by me and exported as PNG. They are not scans but are formatted similarly to the factory literature. You are welcome to redistribute as you see fit- all I ask is that you not take credit for my work.

I only have the 1991 Product & Price Guide from the Sales Training literature. I don't have any other years- if you want me to transcribe pictures of other years into this format, I will as time permits. Please just PM me and we'll get the ball rolling.

These pages show Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Label Prices, also known as MSRP, sticker price, or dealer price. I've included alternate verbiage to assist searches. Note: if this thread gets old and the image links break, please PM me. I will reupload.

They also show option packages, option pricing, features, trim, colors and dealer options as listed by Nissan for the 1991 model year.

The info about the Super HICAS option is not accurate, at least the footnotes for the equipment is missing.

The optional equipment footnote 2 says "Part of the Handling Package" on my 1991 sales brochure.

Footnote 1 says "Requires Optional Air Conditioning System"
Footnote 3 "says Requires ABS Option" which is only tied to the Handling Package

There's a couple other options you listed that does not match what I have in the brochure. For example, removable rear cargo area cover is standard equipment on all trim levels of fastback.

also, brochure shows ABS as an optional equipment for coupe but only if you have SE and purchased air conditioner.

I missed the truncation of the pages; revised and replaced. Thank you for catching that, appreciated.

I'm using the 1-1-1991 Edition. It does not list removable rear cargo area cover as anything other than "-" in the base column. I've double-checked all standard/option/trim just to make sure I didn't miss anything.

The manual also shows cD: 0.33 for both coupe and fastback base, 0.32 for coupe SE, 0.31 for fastback SE and LE.

Still not what the brochure says, some are inaccurate like the rear cargo cover.

Let me take pics of the brochure and upload it.

for starters, LE was not offered as an option on the coupe and leather seats only were an option on the fastback for 1991. this may have changed after 91 but for US models this is important... it's why the current S13 coupe on BaT is ultra rare, because it's a Canadian 1991 model SE coupe with manual, LE/leather, and factory VLSD.

as for the color and options from my brochure:

1991 is the only year I have the brochure for. I had S14 brochures in high school but threw them all away.

Ah, there's the problem- for the above posts, I'm using the "1991 Nissan Product & Price Guide with Sales Training and Copyright 1991, Nissan Motor Corporation in U.S.A. 1-91." Little book with a 300ZX over a blue grid background.

If you have the same customer brochure I have (which I think you do, because mine's identical to what you have pictured), it has a print date of 1990 (edit now I know it's different "F705-8/90-225M-AL").

Which is correct, the sales literature or the customer literature?

Other notable differences between customer literature and dealership/sales literature:
  • Sales literature doesn't include semi-concealed windshield wipers
  • Curb weights: customer literature coupe: 2657 base, manual/ 2684 SE, manual (add 44lbs to both for automatic) compared to sales literature coupe: 2699 base, manual/ 2712 SE, manual (add 60lbs to both for automatic)
  • Curb weights: customer literature hatchback: 2657 base, manual, 2684 SE, mnaual (add 44lbs to both for automatic) compared to sales literature hatchback: 2730 base, manual/ 2747 SE, manual/ 2748 LE, manual (add 60lbs to any for automatic)

Someone at Nissan smoked crack when coming up with the brochures.

My brochure has a copyright of 1991, "F705-1/91-150M-AL" which, if read at face value, suggests a print date of 1/91 as well.
