Hey, do any of you dudes have the godspeed front lca's? I was originally going to box in some s14 lca's to put on my s13 since they are longer and I want a tad bit more extra camber. However, by the time I bought ball joints for them I could spend a tad bit more and have the godspeeds and do the cool ball joint mod thats on nissan road racing or whatever. My question is, how much longer can they extend beyond that of a stock s13 lca? All I really want is an extra inch....... teehee.

Here is what I did to allow my inners to have enough thread to adjust my toe properly. I have PBM inners (Stock s14 + 20mm)





Im not really liking this method and want to know if anyone can confirm how much one of those rack spacers would give me in length. I need about 25mm on each side.
If 1 spacer isn't long enough, Can I use a rack spacer on each side(like DW spacer, just not 30mm moved forward)?
Last option I thought of is SPL outers as they can go 5 3/4" long, which are 1 1/2" over stock.

any other ideas?

Moved the rack forward by 25mm.
And now I got a new problem :\
The steering column touching the oil pipe(from the turbo to the oil sump).
The pipe is fully stretched, but still the column touching. Im afraid that its about time when the pipe wilך rip.

Any one have this problem? any solution?

I think the issue is less about the knuclkes and more about the longer control arms. But I didn't have normal control arms on when I installed the lower ackerman knuckles, so I could be wrong.

Yeah I had the knuckles installed with the Pbm inners a long time ago. You will need longer tie rods or offset spacers for most knuckles.

We run the Corr Integration spacers on both sides. I believe they are 25mm ea. The stock tie rod boots are fine.

These are the Teins vs I30's I bought. They work almost perfect with s14 flcas and pbm pro knuckles. Had to cut a very small amount off for proper adjustment

Don't have much of a better picture, but pretty damn short.

Ikeya formula inners/s14 outers. About 1/4 inch of thread engagement. EDIT:! Now that I think of it, this could be wrong. Pictured is the MAX inners and the threads were cut. I think I had 1/4" in this pic but with the ikeya formula I am not sure what my thread engagement is...

Does moving your rack forward make you have a little more thread? Looks like it would make it better by looking at the tie rod angle.

Oh and this pic is s13 unmodded LCA.

Oh my goodness. I totally forgot. You had the old MAX inner before, right? Trimmed down by MAX? And they were too short? It's been a while. Your Ikeya Formula inners only have 1/4" engagement? All 4 adjustment points? I guess I could just come over and look. haha

Yeah the pic is with Max inners and tons of toe out. Yes they were trimmed also.

Now that I think of it... I can't remember if you were telling me I had 1/4" with the MAX inners or with the new ikeya inners... Hmmm maybe I have more than that.

I installed it with about 3 threads engaged so you could limp home that day with the MAX tie rods. I can't remember if I helped you install the IF tie rods though. I'm sure they're long enough. I added almost exaclty 1.5" to my IF inners to reach the knuckles with 1.5" extended CAs.

We're just machining up a new set of knuckles based on a new steering arm design as seen below. If all goes to plan they should be finished in around 2 weeks and then we'll get 4 sets on to test vehicles and then 1 or 2 sets on to the workbench for some destructive testing:

The rears are still in development but here's where we've got to so far:




At this stage we've made 3 steering arms for the front knuckles. Standard, extreme and another which we haven't given a name to as yet but when they're released we'll also release a bunch of simulations to show the differences from one to the next

I like the new design much better. Less stress off of the bolts themselves. During testing where the bolts holding the steering arms to the knuckle failing? Or what exactly was failing?

Or did you guys randomly just decide to change it, haha.

I believe the mentioned the Steering Arm it self. IIRC this design update for the arm showed 300% increase in strength.
