on the j30 diff people complain it acts like an open after moderate performance driving(because i guess it gets hot), well if you get those diff covers that hold more oil. does it act the same? or does it perform better?

I'm pretty sure the S14 rear coilovers are waayy longer than the S13 rear. Don't think it will work.

how do you gents properly secure ur tucked harness on the driver side...?

im not asking about pulling the fender section...im talking about that half foot where it comes out of the fire wall to the fender area...

i was thinking of getting some U shaped metal braces and screwing them on with self taping screws...and runnign the rest of the harness thru the fender frame area not just tucked along the side...thoughts?

i've seen that done before but it's a lot of work and i think you have to extend the harness

i just moved it up and the part where it comes out from the well to the side i flattened the lip there and ziptied it up

works pretty good

it really depends on the style of the wheel and how much backspacing you have. your 16x8 could have no room behind it for bigger brakes to clear but at the same time ive got 17x8.5 +12 and 17x9.5 + 22 5zigens that i could fit f350 brakes behind just because of the style of the wheel.

figure out your back spacing and how much room there is then youll be able to determine what will fit. another thing to take into consideration is the size of the rotor necessary for larger calipers to work properly

No difference in ABS hubs, offset clearance will depend on brakes used and design of spokes, I had +36 offset 8.5's and they wouldn't clear 300zx front calipers without a spacer. However my 7.5 +44 cleared them ok. Depends on a lot of variables.

The R32 does not bolt on. The Skyline is physically wider then the 240SX.
Your fenders will not be flush with the doors, however someone does make a R32 conversion kit for the 240sx, I believe this would involve fiberglass fenders, hood, bumper and you can use R32 headlights.

Question:

If I remove the HICAS vanes from the powersteering pump, does that still mean my rear axle is still "loose"?

I have a question about the valve cover T Fitting thing. On my SR it has a threaded fitting the a vac line to a oil catch can and Im in the process of switching valve covers with my friend. I have a red one and im switching with his black one. His black one has the T fitting on it. The question is how can I get the threaded fitting on to the black valve cover to complete the valve cover swap? thank you for the help

Yes but the bellhousing has to be swapped from ka24de and when I was trying to get a bellhousing for the ka24de I could not find one separate anywhere and nissan wants 330$ for one. So the best thing to do would be either use the bellhousing you have on your dual cam or buy a new tranny like I did. You might get lucky and find a trashed trans at a junkyard but all the ones around here want like 400-600$ with one for 200k miles on them. All the internals for the ka24de, ka24e, and sr20det transmissions are the same - the only difference in them is the bellhousing. That's why I'm dissassembling my sr20 trans and mounting it to my ka24e bellhousing for my turbo car (my ka24e trans is mangled and I don't have enough cash to build my sr up).

My S13 is doing the same thing - I have to kick the throttle to get it to shift into reverse and I only have 1st and 3rd gear due to it getting knocked into reverse (complicated) and blowing some seals or something. Anyway my guess is you have to get the trans internals rebuilt - sounds like something inside is damaged - I got a manual I'm swapping in mine. Or maybe your shifter is screwed up but I doubt it.

Every gear on my car is fine...shifts great. Only the damn reverse...I'm thinking it is something internal. =(

And does anyone have this problem with their window, its my driver side. Goes down 2 inches and I hear the motor or whatever go errrrrrggghhh, and I let go of the switch, then I budge the window a little then it goes down like 4 inches, and the same sound comes again window won't move until I do the same process T_T I repeat the same steps if I wanna put the window all the way back up. Is the window off track or something? Can't be the motor right?
