2000 BMW 540i 6 Speed Manual V8 E39 FOR SALE.

$3800 OBO

Located in Chino. call / text 714 305 4895 for more info.

Cosmo (metalic) black exterior gray interior.
Chassis just rolled over 180k but motor has about 8x,xxx (have paperwork)

PROS/details: Dinan rom tune. M parallel wheels painted black (needs repaint) With spacer... sits nice. Newer tires. M5 suspension. M5 front bumper but a crack on top. M sport steering wheel, M sport 6 speed illuminated shift knob. M5 style/ Halo projector headlights. 'custom' exhaust. (one muffler glass piped and one deleted) Sounds fucking great without being too loud. M5 rear tail lights. Interior is decent. Everything works inside as should (cluster, sun roof, seats, seat heaters etc) Has sport, cold weather and premium package. (Sun roof, heated seats, fully adjustable seats, power everything). Pre-wired for after market sub.
Have kept very up-to-date on maintenance. Just did fluid change (oil, brakes, trans, etc), just overhauled most of ignition system, new bosh 02 sensors ...comes with brand new cooling system (not yet installed).. and I mean the wholleee system.. mostly oem parts where it counts or 'upgraded' like water pump with metal impeller. There's a very small slow leak somewhere in the current one but drives GREAT. I commute 30mins to work 3-4 times a week and mountain high about once a week....car never has issues or over heated with the leak...just have to top it off every few days.

CONS: cooling system small leak. Has occasional misfire. It is 100% from cam position sensors. Not sure which one code doesn't say which bank. I replaced both a while back with some crappy real cheap ones from online but only worked for like a month. needs a proper set to be 100%. Driver seat leather is showing typical wear. 2 window regulators out. Car has wobble at 45. (Common issue due to thrust arm) that's everything I everything can think of.

**Anyone who knows me can vouch for me that I keep my cars in great shape. Previously a professional tech. I planned on keeping this car much longer hence all the work put in, but things came up.
