502 bad gateway error - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum

I keep getting a bad gateway error when I click on any individual thread. It happens every 20 minutes or so for the last week. It doesn't happen on forum or sub-forum pages, user control panel, new posts, or search - only individual threads.

It only happens on my computer. Not on tapatalk or safari on my iphone.

It says it's a problem with zilvia.net host. Is anyone else having this problem? or know how to fix it?

I got the same error. I fixed it by deleting the history of Zilvia from my browser.

this issue is getting really annoying

First, I thought it's only my computer, but now I have to clear cookie/cache every 3-4 days. It seems like only certain sub-forums gets this error - Marketplace, and Tech, but Forum Suggestions & Technical Support seems to be okay.
Using "private browsing" does solve the issue like clearing cookie/cache, but this is not a real solution

Running on Windows 7/Chrome

I am having the same issue. It is mostly just the for sale threads, but random other ones also.

Chrome on OSX.

I guess it's better than getting logged off in the middle of browsing but still BS.

I get the same issue with chrome, but usually just for newly updated threads in the for sale section. I don't have this issue when I'm on firefox.

When the main site goes down its cloudflare, sometimes the sites registrar will make a DNS change and it takes their servers a bit to catch up. Just sit tight and zilvia will be back shortly. As for particular threads and subforms that is probably just zilvia, same thing used to happen but now you get this 502 error from cloudflare instead of a blank page. This little lapse in service is much better than the alternative of not being behind cloudflare.

i notice on my Note 3, if i use normal internet browser i get this issue. If i use Chrome i don't experience this issue at all.

Let the record show that this is happening to me as well, happens from my home computer when using Chrome, but not IE (forgot to check firefox). No problem at all at work.
Yes, I know I am admin, but technical issues are not my department as all the fun toys are 2/3 the way across the country from me. I have advised the big man out in CO, still waiting on some word back.

I have this same problem on pretty much every thread I try to open when at home using Chrome and IE. However this never happens while at work on IE.

Clear your cookies for zilvia.net, should fix the issue.

easier solution I've figured out is to log out of zilvia...as clearing cookie will clear everything in my browser, which is a big hassle for me.

Wanted to poke in and see if any progress has been made. Happens in Chrome for me at work, IE works fine. Home used to work fine in Chrome but has been having the same issues for the past month or two now as well.

Getting really annoying trying to surf Classifieds and having to use two browsers
EDIT: I posted this thread, and then couldn't access it so I'm now making this edit from IE because I got the 502 Gateway error
