WTB S14 Open Diff (Pref. ABS)

Hey all...looking for an open diff I can weld up, S14 preferably ABS so I don't need to find a driveshaft. If you happen to have a non ABS I'm still interested, hopefully you have a driveshaft too! Thanks in advance!

Open diffs only came as non abs.
If your car has abs installing a welded diff will cause it to wig out.

Not necessarily, since both wheels will always be turning at the same speed I don't think it will have any effects on the ABS system. However, a proper LSD would be preferable, but all these kids now a days want cheap shit in their cars.

What are the benefits or losses from an open diff in an abs housing? Because I've got one that came on my spare shell lol

Unless it's helical and I just don't know it. never opened it up

You shouldn't have an open in an ABS housing because they never came that way from the factory.

However, since the SX ABS system is only 3 channel it doesn't matter The ABS system in our cars just looks for a wheel speed difference front to rear or side to side up front.

I've removed ABS from the car...everything

Jr_ss, a proper LSD would be great I agree, but seeing as I'm a 25 year old enthusiast who only wants to put cheap shit in my car I feel it's not necessary to try to get my 250k+ KA spinning both tires at the same time. I plan on installing a reputable LSD once i finish the build with my other block and am putting a little more power to the ground. For now it's just trying to make the most of a tired NA KA.

From searching (and common sense) it seems I would need a Non ABS diff and the non ABS rear section of the driveshaft, correct?
