SR20 hates Cold Starts
My Sr20 hates starting in the cold. its fully built and utilizes an AEM V2 Ecu. the wideband broke a long time ago and it does not have an IACV.
Do you guys think that adding in the wideband and a Intake air temp sensor will help the ECU read the cold air to adjust so it will start. it takes 20 mins to start the engine and i have to continuously keep starting it. |

you will still need to program it to re-add those parts...y don't you bump up the idle in the aem til temp reaches a certain point? I'm not super familiar with tuning software but i imagine it should be do-able...

There is a wire from the ignition switch to ECU pin 34 that tells the ECU the starter is engaged, which puts the ECU in startup mode. Check the fuse for this wire.

You need to speak to your tuner, and have him go over the cold start enrichment table. There's no reason why he shouldn't be able to get it to start easier.
